Candace and I met in orchestra a few years back. We shared a stand, music, and so many jokes it's impossible to remember all of them. Over the years, we both have moved on from that orchestra, but are so extremely thankful for it because of the friendship we formed. Candace is a breath of fresh air, always kind, always friendly, down to earth and so, so smart.
This past summer she was an intern over at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She fell in love with that city, so when she asked me to do her senior photographs, her location was already set in stone. When I arrived the day of the shoot, she got right to showing me around, sharing her favourite places, and discovering new ones. Her shoot was filled with perfect light, beautiful locations, bugs, and so much laughter.
Candace, I love you, and I know you are going to do such big things in this world. Never forget who you are or what makes you that way, because you are incredible and were born to do great things, of which I am so excited to be able to watch unfold. The best of luck with your senior year!
